Color: This was a bit of a darker tinge, but still quite pale

Taste: Unremarkable. This was third in a succession of Tommyknockers.

Likeability: It wasn’t bad, per se. Not something I have an interest in, again, but it was palatable

Color: Another very pale, very clear, ale from Tommyknocker. Yellow, though.

Taste: I honestly don’t remember anymore. I want to say this was one of the sour ones

Likeability: I had a single sip and tossed this. I’m not, it seems, a fan of the Wheat Ale.

Color: Goldenrod with a dash of rust. This one has a very bright coloring, a very pale and light amber, as opposed to say Killian’s Irish Red which has a deep and dark coloration

Taste: The taste matched the color. The flavour was much closer to a blonde than an amber.

Likeability: For folks who like the Ambers, I would say probably low. For folks who like blondes, this is probably pretty decent. Personally, I only had a couple of sips before tossing it.

Color: Dark, black-brown.

Taste: Tasted rather bland.

Likeability: It was pretty decent. I’d order it somewhere, but not exceptional enough to purchase myself.

It was the fifth taste in a row, and I actually drank this one since it was a dark, but the taste might have been better on a fresh taste.

Color: Rich yellow, touch of gold.

Taste: A bit of that nougat-y taste of the other Tommyknockers, but in a light pale. I don’t think it worked quite as well, but it wasn’t bad.

Likeability: I’d drink it again if I got it in a Tommyknocker case. Admittedly, I only had a couple sips before tossing it, but that’s because after the first three lights … it was a little soured … But I think it would have been good.

Of course, when we popped it, we thought the name was BLACK Axe … we were expecting another dark or stout. Since I’ve already had two from Tommyknocker, I suppose it makes sense that I was running out of good dark blends

Color: Pale yellow. Fizzy??

Taste: Sour. The raspberry was definitely prominent.

Likeability: Except I don’t like fresh raspberries, especially in my beer. Blech.

We were fairly sure I wouldn’t like this one, so we just opened it right after the Export and the Red Seal, just to get it out of hte way since the first two were bad anyway. After I drank a little water and gatorade to clear my palate, as it were, before the next attempt.

Taste: Somewhat sharp and bitter.

Color: Blonde, solid however. Golden rather than yellow

Likeability: I only had a couple sips. It might have been better on a different day, but that day (and after the Export), it wasn’t. I doubt I’d've picked it up again at any time, anyway, however.

Taste: Sour. Sharp. Ugly.

Likeability: I hated it, it was terrible

Colour: Pale, blonde. Light yellow

Taste: Thick, heavy, strong. Oatsy. Not much bite, but distinctive.

Colour: Black. Cloudy, Opaque.

Likeability: I liked it. Certainly on my list to pick it up again next time I’m at the in-laws lakehouse.

IBU: 32 by the site. I think IBUs go down as the bitterness goes up …

Taste: Slightly bitter. Strong.

Colour: Dark, murky. Dark Chocolate but still visible

Likeability: I really liked it. Got it at my in-laws lakehouse. Thanksgiving her dad, siblings, and cousins bought a bunch of really pale beers. coronas, tequiza, pale ales. given that I’ve shown a strong tendency to not drink anything i can really see through, I went out and picked this up at the shop (didn’t see anything really recognizable offhand). I think I’ll pick it up again next time.
