Earth, Sea and Fire Salmon

Actually made this last week, but went to have the rest last night (see plastic & ovens :o ), so I figured I’d go ahead and review it since i didn’t do that initially when we did eat it.

Dish: Entree
Taste: 4
Preparation: 5/5
Recipe: 3
Cost: $$$
Repeat? Yes

Taste: A little sharp. Think I may have put in too much lemon juice, or I just didn’t like the taste. Pretty good otherwise

Preparation: Not bad. Hardest part is probably slicing the raw potatoes :o I actually quartered I think, b/c that’s a bit easier.

Recipe: Well, we used tilapia instead of salmon. And we don’t really like peppers (we like red pepper taste, but whole peppers and bell peppers not so much). Didn’t put on quite as much red onion as it wanted, b/c while we like roasted onion, that seemed a bit much. And I don’t like portobello (or much mushroom taste in general), but kiir says they were good on it. So we really only used about half the recipe, and I’ll probably tweak it some next time and add some of our own ingredients

Cost: Fish, Potatoes, Sesame Oil & Portobello mushrooms. Peppers & onions, too. Oil is high reusable, and it doesn’t use a full thing of potatoes, so those aren’t exactly whole cost to be accounted. About 15$, another couple for hte peppers & onions and the sesame oil was another 5 or so. So 15$ or so, usually, 20-25$ for the first round. Bit pricier than the other dishes reviewed, but also the first Entree, so it is reasonable to expect.
