We’ve made this quiche before, and I always make the same mistakes :o

Taste: Good. A little runny. Kind of had the consistency of undercooked scrambled eggs, like you get on a buffet line or something. In a soggy crust. I need to figure out where to take out liquid, but never remember when I’m making it. Still, tastes OK, just not quite right

Preparation: Chop asparagus. Technically supposed to steam it, but I never bothre. I figure it’sgonna cook for half an hour or so, and you can eat it raw anyway. Mix stuff, pour over asparagus in crust. tada :)

Recipe: Well, right out of the gate, I can’t eat meat, so that bacon is gone :o (mmmm bacon). Something’s not quite right in the rest, since it gets too liquidy. Could be b/c I don’t HAVE half-and-half creamer (it’s a coffee thing. we don’t drink coffee. we don’t gots creamer :o ) I substitute milk. That’s probably the problem, actually, since milk is not as thick as cream. Next time, 1/2 cup instead of 3/4 bythe recipe.

Cost: Asparagus. And Swiss cheese. Milk, eggs, seasoning. whatever :) Pie Crust. All in all, around 7 or 8$. Not bad, and it makes a full pie-size of stuff. 4-6 servings, depending on how big your serving size is :)
