Taste: It’s corn. And … corn. With corn. Milk and cheese show up, but mostly corn. It tastes like … corn. In milk. With cheese. Good taste, dependent on the spice added however, for anything beyond an overwhelming taste of corn. Cayenne and black pepper help give it a little oomph.

Preparation: Thickening agent, add milk, corn, corn, corn, corn, corn, and corn. Throw in some corn. Really simple recipe, takes no effort

Recipe: I double the cheese (accidentally, but I think it turns out fine, so I’m not gonna bother stopping). Also triple the recipe (makes 4 servings, we rack it up to 12 for parties and leftovers). I left out the onion this time, and I don’t think it really affected the taste at all, so I’ll probably keep leaving it out, maybe throw in some bonus pepper to make up for any lost effect.

Cost: Corn. Lots of it. Two styles. Milk, sherry, butter, flower, spices. Cheese. Thats it. The cheese and the corn are gonna set you back (it’s only a splash of cooking sherry, so costs to buy, but makes forever). Kernel corn and cream corn. We stocke up on a sale, but otherwise those 6 cans of corn will set you back more than the cheese. But overall, maybe 10$ for the stuff. Lower with good sale purchases.
