Taste: Even after draining the watermelon for over an hour, the salsa still ended up really watery. All that water buried any real flavor. And the watermelon was completely bland and tasteless.
Preparation: Cutting the bell pepper, hot peppers, watermelon. Longest part was draining the watermelon. Let that go for more than an hour, got out cup and a half to two cups of liquid.
Recipe: Straightforward and simple. cut, chop, mix, sit.
Cost: A bit pricey with the quantites the recipe made. Watermelon quarter, jalapeno’s, bell pepper. The watermelon can be pricey. But if you do a small amount, it’d probably be relatively cheap. This made the equivalent of 2 jars of salsa ….
