Taste: Blackberry. And it’s not a subtle taste. I like blackberry jam. I’ll even eat blackberries. But beer? It might work if the blackberry were a complement flavour, something in the background to give some depth and body. But as the primary ingredient? All I could taste was blackberry, and sour.
Color: Very pale. Was something of a hint. I really need to start pouring these into glasses, but I’d say a pale yellow/orange. Between water and vegetable oil.
Likeability: I didn’t. Kiir tried it, and she actually kindof liked it. Said “If I drank beer, this wouldn’t be bad”. Of course, she doesn’t, so it’s not much of a recommendation …
IBU: I want to say it was really bitter. But I think that was the blackberry taste more than the beer itself. IBU probably fairly low (10-15?), since kiir liked it. But it felt very bitter/sour.
