Taste: I wouldn’t say it went all the way to tasting like pumpkin pie. (they don’t claim it does, mind you). But it comes close. I doubt that it ACTUALLY has nutmeg in it, but you can taste and smell the pumpkin and you get the hint of nutmeg flavor.
Colour: I was drinking out of the bottle, but I imagine a amber brown mix.
Likeability: Pretty good. If I saw some next time I’m buying beer (and I’ve still got about two dozen around the house to go through of various assortments, so it’s not likely to be anytime soon), I’d probably pick it up. It’s almost certainly seasonal, and I’m not entirely convinced that you’d WANT it out of season. You don’t generally have pumpkin pie for valentines, and there’s a reason. It’s a fall vegetable. I think this is a fall beer.
IBU: 24 by the site. It was a little tart, but not too bad. Not too bad.
