been cleaning hte house all week found all the cookbooks (well, i think that’s all of them) they were scattered around 4 (5?) different places !!! yeesh. now they’re all on a shelf near the kitchen. found a recipe book, too, so we can actually note down some that we like in one book instead [...]

For this week the menu we hope to follow is: leftover quiche (okay never eaten left over quiche) lasagna pizza fish jambalaya leftover pasta (mac and cheese or pasta casarole.)

Cost: 134$ Save: 20$ non-kitchen: 15$ drinks: 15$ Lasagna-bits: 25$ (6 lasagnas ) so about 60$ on regular food bits an’ junk.

We actually didn’t go to the grocery last week, go us! (we ate out a few more times than we should have, so we lost money on the deal ) cost: 99$ savings: 3.50$ about 20$ on non cooking bits (cooking mag and toilet paper) ~12$ on drinks ~40$ on fresh fruits & veggies and [...]

So, we had the lasagna off the menu. tacos, soup and leftovers too. actually, to be entirely honest, the soup WAS a leftover b/c the broccoli cheese soup REALLY didn’t freeze well apparently (all lumpy and gloopy ; adding milk just made it lumpy and gloopy in milk) i guess 4 nights out of 7 [...]
